Professor Kenji Osafune, Chief Scientific Advisor, ran the Osaka Marathon 2026
Osaka Marathon 2026 was held on February 22.
Our Chief Scientific Advisor, Professor Kenji Osafune, participated in the Osaka Marathon 2026 as a charity runner and successfully completed the full marathon.
The Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA), which he is affiliated with, at Kyoto University, has been again designated as a charity organization.
After the event, Professor Osafune stated the following; “I successfully improved my time by 15 minutes compared to last year’s Osaka Marathon. The cheers from the crowd were channeled into the strength that kept me running. I am committed to working hand-in-hand with everyone involved in iPS Cell research to move forward and contribute to a brighter future.”
We hope his involvement highlights the value of iPS Cell research to a wider audience. Furthermore, Rege Nephro remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of science through unrelenting innovation and dedication.
