After many years engaged in drug discovery research in the fields of cardiovascular, diabetes, obesity, and oncology at Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd., he joined a major consulting firm, where he was involved in strategy development and end-to-end strategy support for clients in the life science industry.
In November 2025, he joined Rege Nephro Co., Ltd. as the General Manager of Advanced Therapeutics Research Division.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Hokkaido University, is a licensed pharmacist, and earned an MBA from Bond University.
